ABOUT ME
Hi everyone! My name is Dani Cohen (also known as Ms. Dani or Ms. Cohen) and I am a Psychiatric Social Worker at LAUSD. I received my undergraduate degree in Sociology from UCSD and received my master's degree in social work from UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. I am very proud to be working at Paul Revere Charter Middle School and Nora Sterry Elementary School for the 2020-2021 school year. I am passionate about education and working with students and families to promote social and emotional well-being and alleviate barriers to academic success. My favorite self care activities are going on morning walks, cooking, and playing with my dog, Lola. I am looking forward to working with you this year!
OFFICE HOURS
I will be 15-minute wellness check-ins during my posted office hours for students needing extra support.
Please fill out a request form below to schedule a check-in. If you're unavailable during office hours, please indicate on the request and we'll find a time that works.
For Revere Families:
Monday: 2-4 PM
Tuesday: 2-4 PM
Wednesday: 2-4 PM

Important info:
Parent/Guardian must provide verbal consent over the phone/video conference in order for me to communicate with students (including those 18 and older).
Parent/Guardian will be asked to verify their name, relationship to student, and address at the beginning of our appointment.
My appointments are not to be used for crisis response. In the event that you need immediate emergency assistance, please call 911.
